Sunday, Jan. 30
The advance team (security & set up) landed in Port au Prince, Haiti and began taking assessment of the area and making set up and preparations for the start of clinic.  The advance team consisted of:
  • Fred L. Buckley, RN
  • Reginald L. Gilbert
  • Officer DeWayne Mason
  • Darrell Pendleton
  • James D. Ware

Monday, Jan. 31
The remainder of Team IAMM left the U.S. en route to Haiti, bringing health, hope, and healing to our international neighbors.

The team landed safely and began taking inventory of medication and supplies, and preparing for the 1st day of clinic.

Tuesday, Feb. 1
The clinic opens at ground zero in Leogane, Haiti, which is only about 12 miles from the nation's capital, Port au Prince.  IAMM has taken the clinic to Leogane, in order to bring health, hope, and healing to people in great need.

This afternoon, the team is seeing a number of patients in need, trying to make a difference -- including to an infant who is suffering from the effects of cholera.

Wednesday, Feb. 2
The clinic continued at ground zero in Leogane, Haiti, Leonardo D. Gilbert expressed his appreciation for the physicians, nurses, and support team as they worked so diligently and wisely together for the cause of the mission.

Leogane presented IAMM with the opportunity to see some quiet sick patients and for that they are grateful.

Thursday, Feb. 3
The clinic was set up and opened today in a familar place at the Church of Christ in Delmas 43. Reports indicate that they were able to see over 125 patients which was a blessing since the clinic opened a little later that usual.
The team is well.

Friday, Feb. 4
The clinic opens again today at Delmas 43.  After a successful day of seeing patients and witnessing baptisms, the clinic concludes.

At the end of the day, the team breaks down the clinic, takes inventory, packs up and delivers some of their medication and supplies to other sources in order to continue assisting the people of Haiti after IAMM leaves.

Saturday, Feb. 5
Team IAMM returns home today after a blessed and successful mission.
